How to increase satisfaction in daily life

Published on 1/10/2026

Even if you are working on your daily assignments or accomplishing the tasks you have set for yourself, you may feel unsatisfied and unfulfilled and feel anxious, wondering, “Is this what it’s all about?”

There are limits to what you can do within your own abilities and the constraints of a 24-hour day.If you are successfully accomplishing the tasks you have set out on a daily basis, you should be completely satisfied.
What can I do if I am still not satisfied and feel anxious and dissatisfied?

The only way to increase satisfaction is to find it yourself

Unfortunately, there is no method that can be applied 100% to everyone by saying, “If you do this, your life satisfaction will increase.”
There is no perfect method, but there are methods that can be applied to a certain number of people. For example, the following methods are frequently recommended actions to increase life satisfaction.

  • write a diary
  • do exercise
  • meditate
  • get enough sleep
  • Be grateful and pray
  • make a social contribution
  • Take actions to improve and maintain relationships with friends and family
  • Take your first challenge
If you look at this list and feel like trying something, why not try it first?

If you look back on your past self, you might find a better way.

The only way to find the method that suits you is by yourself, but if there was a time in the past when you felt fulfilled and satisfied, why not think back to those good times and analyze the factors behind them?
If you are unable to recall or analyze the information yourself, please consider using the services of a task management partner.

For example, I can help you like this

Now that I think about it, when I was feeling well, I think I tried to read at least a little bit every day!

Partner
Why did reading make people feel more satisfied?

Perhaps it was a good feeling to receive new stimulation and expand your imagination by reading.I haven’t been able to read much lately, so I think I’ll give it a try.

Partner
Great!Of course, you can just read it, but try to focus on elements that give you new stimulation and expand your imagination.

At the same time, consider ways to avoid lowering satisfaction.

So far, we have introduced ways to increase satisfaction, but let’s also focus on ways to avoid decreasing satisfaction.
Just like how to raise your score, it depends on each person and their situation, so there is no saying that “doing ◯◯ will lower your score,” but as a hint, it would be a good idea to research “don’t-do lists” and “don’t-do lists.”

Maybe it’s not going well because I’m taking it too seriously?

Creating a “don’t do/don’t do list” is a very effective method for people who have too many things to do and try to do them too seriously.

At first glance, it may seem like a good idea to aim to process a large number of tasks efficiently and use your time meaningfully in order to increase your sense of satisfaction with your life, but be aware that completing a large number of tasks does not necessarily equate to an increase in your life satisfaction.

Depending on your situation and way of thinking, we will support you in increasing or decreasing your level of satisfaction.
